Kokoro is a visual theatre creation for young audiences that explores emotions — especially the ones we often find hard to name or share.

Through images, movement, and play, the show gently addresses unpleasant emotions: the “inner monsters,” anger that bursts out, sadness that overwhelms us, and the experience of loss and mourning when something precious disappears.
But Kokoro is also a celebration: the joy of feeling, the joy of being alive, and the richness of our inner world.
The entire scenography is made of tissue paper. Folded, torn, transformed using origami techniques, it becomes a fragile and poetic landscape in constant evolution. Paper turns into creatures, shadows, memories, and emotions, brought to life through shadow play, puppetry, visual theatre, dance, and clowning.
On stage, two clowns meet: one Japanese, one German. Coming from different cultures, they experience and express emotions in contrasting ways. Their encounters — sometimes playful, sometimes clumsy — create a tender and humorous dialogue about how we feel, react, and connect.

Pour cette nouvelle création, le Collectif Krumple a décidé de relever ce défi posé par Gabriel García Márquez. Comment réveiller l'âme des choses ? et si l'on y parvient, qu'advient-il ? Est-il possible que l'âme humaine parvienne à entrer en résonance avec ces autres formes d'âmes, celles de choses réputées inanimées, comme une échelle, une branche d'arbre, un nuage ? Cela aurait-il pour conséquence de changer notre rapport au monde qui nous entoure ?
Pour chercher des réponses, les membres du Krumple ont choisi de partir en voyage sur la scène du théâtre et de raconter leur propre odyssée.
