Oda Kirkebø Nyfløtt

Oda Kirkebø Nyfløtt is an actress hailing from Førde, on the West coast of Norway. Since co-founding the Krumple in 2013 she has co-created and toured extensively with Go to Sleep, Goddamnit!, Do Not Feed the Trolls, YŌKAI and DÉJÀ. After graduating from École Jacques Lecoq she additionally worked as an actress at Sogn og Fjordane Teater, and collaborated as a freelance performer with various Norwegian directors, such as Torkil Sandsund, Audny Chris Holsen, Miriam Prestøy Lie and the artistic duo Marie Nikazm and Fredrik Floen. Before moving back to Norway from France she had the main role in Alice in Wonderland, by the company Les Anthropologues, and has earlier been involved in the improv scene in Oslo. She has received Arts Council Norway’s artist grant for young actors in 2016, 2017 and 2019. Oda likes to fish for cod in her spare time.

Vincent Vernerie

Vincent Vernerie is an artist and theatre-maker based in Oslo, and a founding member of the Krumple. With the Krumple he directs and performs original works, in addition to designing masks, puppets and scenography. Krumple credits include Go to Sleep, Goddamnit!, Do Not Feed the Trolls, YŌKAI, DÉJÀ, Harrison and MEGAMEGA, as well as SOLA; the company’s first solo performance. He will also perform and devise in the Krumple’s upcoming production, Chimère. Using the visual to show what is usually invisible, Vincent likes to balance on a fine line between what enchants and what disturbs. Outside of the company he has been involved in various projects as an actor or director both in his native France and in Norway, and he occasionally instructs theatre workshops. After studying film direction and having made the short film Le Jardin des Imbéciles, he trained at École Jacques Lecoq 2011-13. Vincent mimics the sound of the trumpet rather well.

Vincent est un artiste francais basé à Oslo. Metteur en scène, acteur et constructeur de masques et marionnettes de toutes sortes, il est également cofondateur et co-directeur artistique du Krumple. Après des études de cinéma et la réalisation d’un court-métrage, Le Jardin des Imbéciles, il se forme à l'École Jacques Lecoq (2011-13). En utilisant le visuel pour montrer ce qui est habituellement invisible, Vincent aime se tenir en équilibre entre ce qui enchante et ce qui dérange. Avec le Krumple, il co-crée MEGAMEGA, Harrison, DÉJÀ, YŌKAI, Do Not Feed the Trolls et Go to Sleep, Goddamnit! ainsi que SOLA, son premier seul en scène. En dehors de la compagnie, il a été engagé en tant que comédien et metteur en scène dans plusieurs projets en France et en Norvège, et anime occasionnellement des ateliers de théâtre. Vincent imite plutôt bien le son de la trompette avec sa bouche.

Jo Even Bjørke

Jo Even Bjørke is a director, producer and performer from Trondheim, Norway. He is the co-founder of the Krumple and has toured extensively with the performances Go to Sleep, Goddamnit!, Do Not Feed the Trolls, YŌKAI, DÉJÀ and Harrison in Norway, Denmark, France, Germany, the UK, the US and Georgia. In addition to creating and performing, Jo Even works as a producer at Dansens Hus in Oslo as well as for the Krumple. He holds a MA in Theatre/Directing from National Academy of the Arts in Oslo, and is a graduate from École International de Théâtre Jacques Lecoq in Paris. Besides theatre he has some years of training in classical ballet and contemporary dance, is a trained sergeant from the Norwegian Armed Forces and has a cat named Bernhard.

Jon Levin is an Brooklyn-based director, performer & puppeteer and a founding member of the Krumple, with which he co-created and performed in Go to Sleep, Goddamnit! and Do Not Feed the Trolls. Jon is also the co-artistic director of Sinking Ship Productions, with which he co-created and performed Kafka’s A Hunger Artist earning him two Drama Desk award nominations: Outstanding Solo Performance and Outstanding Puppet design, as well as Summerhall’s Lustrum Award for Excellence at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival. Directing credits include POWERHOUSE at the New Ohio Theatre (NYTimes Critics Pick), and There Will Come Soft Rains at FringeNYC (Excellence Award for Outstanding Direction). Jon has performed as a puppeteer with Wakka Wakka, the Puppet Kitchen and Banksy. He is a graduate of the École Internationale de Théâtre de Jacques Lecoq and holds a BA in theater and neuroscience from Oberlin College. Growing up, Jon had a tree frog named Lancelot.

David est un acteur et magicien danois. Il est spécialisé dans l’art de rendre possibles les choses qui paraissent impossibles. Comme créateur et interprète, il travaille sur des projets pluridisciplinaires dans lesquels la magie a toujours une place, soit centrale, soit comme un langage parmi d'autres. Léna Rondé

Léna Rondé is an actress, singer and director, and is a co-founder of the Collectif Krumple. She co-created and performs in the award-winning production YŌKAI and DÉJÀ, both of which have toured internationally. Additionally, Léna has created several roles in contemporary operas and theatrical plays with music, including Qui a peur du Loup & Macbeth by A. Dumont (dir. Matthieu Roy), L'Ébloui by M. Musseau (dir. Xavier Legasa), as well as Le Dibbouk and La Forêt des Fables, by Benjamin Lazar. As a director she has staged the operas Tears of the Knife by B. Martinu, the Mozart's Magic Flute as well as The Child and Spells by Ravel. Léna studied Musicology and French Literature at Sorbonne, and is a graduate of École International de Théâtre Jacques Lecoq 2011-2013. Léna is an active combatant against off-season tomatoes.

Après avoir étudié la danse classique et le chant lyrique, et mené des études universitaires poussées, elle atterrit en 2011 à l’Ecole Jacques Lecoq où sa vie artistique prend un nouveau tournant. Avec le Krumple, elle co-crée et joue dans YŌKAI, puis DÉJÀ. En tant que chanteuse comédienne, elle joue plusieurs rôles dans des opéras contemporains : l’Ebloui de M. Musseau (dir. Xavier Legasa), Qui a peur du loup & Macbeth d'Aurélien Dumont (dir. Matthieu Roy) et dans des créations de Benjamin Lazar : Le Dibbouk, La Forêt des Fables. Elle crée aussi plusieurs spectacles avec l’ensemble Oneiroï, et met en scène plusieurs opéras tels que Larmes de Couteau, La Flûte Enchantée, West Side Story, L’Enfant et les Sortilèges. Léna est une fervente opposante aux pailles en plastique et aux tomates hors saison.
